World Youth Chess Championship
Geno Pharmaceuticals Brand Ambassador and  WCM Riya Savant ( 1896) won the Bronze Medal in U-12 Girls Category on tie break at World Youth Chess Championship  which just concluded at Slovenia.

M. Barath ( 1719) and Anant Prabhudesai ( 1642) scored 7 points from 10 rounds at just concluded All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament held at Bhadravati, Karnataka. Both the players scored 7 points but due to better tie break score M. Barath finished 11th and Anant Prabhudesai finished 15th in the main prize list .  M. Barath is gaining 27 ELO points and Anant will gain 5 Elo points from this tournament.
Mr M. Kunal ( 2276) of Tamil Nadu won the Tournament with the score of 9 points which had 193 participants

Goa Carbon Limited Brand Ambassador and India’s latest Woman Grandmaster Bhakti Kulkarni won silver medal at Bhavarlal and Kantabai Jain Foundation 39th Premier National Women Chess Championship, which concluded at Jalgao, Maharashtra on Saturday.

 M. Barath gets 1st place in  U-10 category  

M. Barath gets 1st place in  U-10 category  in the just concluded  Havell  RSC International Rating Chess Tournament held at Cochin, Kerala .  Barath did well in this  Tournament and with 5 wins and 3 draws, scored 6.5 points from 10 rounds .He is gaining 21 ELO points from this tournament. There were a total of 231 participants out of which 140 were rated.
