India wins  3 Golds , 3 Bronze and 2 Silver and Ties for the Best Position with Russia
Riya Savant wins Bronze Medal in U-12 Girls Category
World Youth Chess Championship
Geno Pharmaceuticals Brand Ambassador and  WCM Riya Savant ( 1896) won the Bronze Medal in U-12 Girls Category on tie break at World Youth Chess Championship  which just concluded at Slovenia.

 

She drew her last 2 games with  Vaishali R ( 1970) of India  and WIM Abdumalik Zhansaya ( 2173) of Kazakhstan, thus scoring 8.5 points after the end of 11 rounds . She had 7 wins , 3 draws and 1 loss out of 11 rounds and will gain 28.5 ELO from the tournament .
India won 3 Golds  ,2 Silver and 3 Bronze to tie with Russia for the best Country award.USA stood third with 4 medals.
